Lenten Alms Giving

The Little Stone Church with the Big Heart

March 2nd – April 16th

Jesus said, “Do this in remembrance of me.”

Harrisena Community Church would like to enhance your experience of the Lenten season by offering you the opportunity to keep track of your intentional alms giving. We invite you to use our Lenten dollar folder to keep track of your alms giving throughout the 40 days of Lent, beginning March 2nd and lasting until April 16th.

The Worship Committee would like to combine the individual alms we collect and donate them to local charities that are working to serve the poor, hungry, and homeless individuals living in our area: WAIT House and the Open Door Mission. When your dollar folder is full, you may deposit it in the box of your choice. Worship Committee will make sure your funds are given to the local charity of your choice.

In addition to the gift of funds, please consider donating the gift of your time. Both organizations offer opportunities to volunteer!
