Christ's "mandate" is commemorated on Maundy Thursday---"maundy" being a shortened form of mandatum (Latin), which means "command."  It was on the Thursday of Christ's final week before being crucified and resurrected that He said this commandment to His disciples. Jesus and his disciples had just shared what was known as the Last Supper and he was washing their feet when he stated:

"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another" (John 13:34).

I have attached a copy of the bulletin for Sunday.  We will use this same bulletin for our Sunrise Service and our regular worship service.  Please keep them and read the prayers.  We do not follow each part of the bulletin during our online service, but it is good to have the prayers and songs to enjoy at home together with your family.

EASTER SUNDAY MORNING:  SUNRISE SERVICE AT 6:30 am in the parking lot.  Everyone MUST stay in their cars.  We will use the same call-in number to communicate.  Some of you have expressed a desire to see each other, this is a safe way to see each other.  We will be safe in our own cars.
